Billy Ray Cox of Hustonville passed away Saturday March 3, 2012 in Casey County, KY. He was 40.

Funeral services are 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Tuesday March 6, 2012 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Gap Cemetery. Visitation is Monday 6pm-9pmET/5pm/8 at the funeral home.



Pallbearers are Greg McQueary, Ryan Richards, Brian Richards, Marcus Chadwell, Derick Hall, William Turpin, Jeff Cox and Roger Sharp.

Born in Casey County, KY on Tuesday, June 1, 1971, he was the son of Garnett and Judy Cochran Cox of Hustonville, KY. He died Saturday, March 3, 2012, in Casey County, KY, at the age of 40 years, 9 months, and 2 days.

He was a gate dealer for McQueary Gates and loved Nascar racing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by the following:
  • Two brothers: Gary Cox of Hustonville and William Turpin of Danville, KY

  • Two sisters, Nita Gail Chadwell and Kay Perez both of Campbellsville, KY

  • Five nieces, three nephews, a great nephew and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins
