Says local agents demonstrate why it is best to buy right here It is nice to know that local people are taking care of local people. -VICKY PIKE By Victoria Pike I was especially proud of our local insurance agents who stayed up last night and were open today for those of us who had damage to file a claim. It certainly was nice to not have to worry about what to do all weekend. We received a call this afternoon from our insurance, Kentucky Farm Bureau, to make sure we had a place to stay if we needed it for the night. Our windows were not broken out but some of our neighbors like the Stotts weren't as lucky. It is nice to know that local people are taking care of local people. All I had to do was run in the office this morning and tell them we had damage. This is a great example of when buying local is so important. Again, I would like to thank all those local agents who stayed up last night and were up early this morning helping their customers with claims.Vicky --Victoria Pike This story was posted on 2012-03-03 20:13:24
