Lindsey Wilson College guard and former Adair County High School standout Kalen Kimberland of Columbia, KY splits the Rio Grande (Ohio) University defense in the first half of the Friday, March 2, 2012 Mid-South Conference Tournament quarterfinal game at the Frankfort Civic Center. Kimberland finished with a game-high 16 points in the Blue Raiders' 51-48 win over the No. 9-seeded Red Storm. LWC -- the tournament's No. 1 seed -- returns to action at 5 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 3, 2012, in the semifinals against No. 5-seeded University of the Cumberlands of Williamsburg, KY, at the Frankfort Convention Center, 405 Mero Street, Frankfort, KY. Darren Ballou, Columbia, KY, takes foul, hits 2

Lindsey Wilson College forward Darren Ballou, Columbia, KY, is fouled by University of the Cumberlands' (KY) Flynn Clayman. Ballou hit both free throws to pull LWC to 10-6 with 13:54 left in the first half of Saturday's Mid-South Conference Tournament semifinal game at the Frankfort Civic Center. Ballou finished with three points in the Blue Raiders' 56-54 loss to No. 5-seed Cumberlands. LWC, who was the tournament's top seed, must now hope for an at-large bid to the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship, which will be played March 14-20, 2012 in Kansas City, MO.
