She was a member of a large, respected Russell County, KY, family, a homemaker, and a member of the Ono Community Church

Audeen Fox, 75, Harristown Road, Russell Springs, KY died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, KY.

Funeral services will be at 12pm noon CT, Monday, March 5, 2012, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro Kenny Dale Kimbler the officiating clergy. Special singing will be by Phyllis Meeks, Tammy Egnew, and Starlene Poppewell. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Monday, March 5, 2012. Burial will be in Square Oak Cemetery.



Pallbearers: Travis McGowan, Junior Fox, Cody Fox, Billy Fox, Jerry Hatfield, and Ricky Egnew.

She was born October 27, 1936, in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Maudie Johnson Popplewell and the late Emitt Popplewell. She died Thursday, March 1, 2012, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 75 years, 4 months, and 5 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Ono Community Church.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her husband: Cuthburt Fox, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sons: Roy (Kathy) Fox and Tim Fox, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two daughters: Cathy (Lloy) Coffey, Jamestown, KY; and Penny (Gordon) Lester, Russell Springs, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Five great grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Katie Hatfield, Jabez, KY; and Vonda Fizer, Mississippi

  • Four brothers: Darwin Popplewell, Thurmon Popplewell, both of Indiana; and Bruce Popplewell and Marsel Popplewell, both of Russell Springs, KY.Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
