Adair Annex basement open for shelter March 2, 2012 Shelter is handicap accessible By Greg Thomas Adair County Emergency Management Director The Adair County Annex basement, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY is open for storm shelter today, Friday, March 2, 2012. With severe weather moving across the state today, the County Judge Executive has opened the basement of the Adair County Annex all day and into the night if shelter is needed. Annex Basement is handicap accessible An elevator is located on the first floor of the Annex and ramps lead to the front entrance. Chairs and tables are available, but please feel free to bring any other item you might need. Be aware of incoming weather and give yourself plenty of time to move to a safe location.
