Injury collision occurs US 68/KY55/210 Thurs., Mar. 1, 2012

Three vehicles involved

One driver was taken to Taylor Regional Hospital following an accident involving three vehicles at the intersection of US 68 and KY 55/KY 210 in Campbellsville, KY, Thursday, March 1, 2012, at around 7:45pmET/6:45CT. The Campbellsville Police Department responded to an injury accident at the intersection of US 68/KY 55/ KY 210, Campbellsville, KY.

A 2004 Nissan passenger car being operated by 21 year old Alicia Nelson of Campbellsville was traveling east on US 68 nearing the intersection with KY 210.



Nelson attempted to make a left turn onto KY 210 and turned into the path of a 2006 Chrysler passenger car being operated by 27 year old Kyle Glasscoe of Greensburg, KY.

Glasscoe's vehicle collided with Nelson's vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Glasscoe's vehicle continued and struck a 2000 Ford pickup being operated by 68 year old Melvin Newton of Campbellsville, KY.

Nelson was transported to TRH by CTCEMS for treatment of injuries. Glasscoe and Newton both refused treatment/transport at the scene.
