Bro. Jack Davidson, Russell County, KY (1932-2012)

He was a native of Tennessee, and retired from GE in Louisville, KY. He was a member of Louisville Separate Baptist Church where he served as pastor for 13 years

Bro. Jack Davidson, 79, Louisville, KY, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Georgetown Manor, Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be Sunday, March 4, 2012, at 2pmCT, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, Ky, with Bro. Richie Curtis and Bro. Jim Goff the officiating clergy. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Louisville Separate Baptist Church, 5517 National Turnpike, Louisville, KY and 12pm noon to 2pmCT Sunday, at Bernard Funeral Home. Special music will be by Larry Perkins. Burial will be in Square Oak Cemetery, Russell Springs, KY.



Pallbearers: Jason Davidson, Jordon Davidson, Mike Dunbar, Ken Dunbar, Mick Perkins, and Larry Perkins.

Bro. Jack Davidson, Russell County, KY (1932-2012)

He was born in Tazewell, Claiborne County, TN, on May 24, 1932. He was the son of the late Sally Carpenter Davidson and the late Frank Davidson. He died Tuesday February 28, 2012, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 79 years, 9 months, and 4 days.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Dunbar Davidson, Louisville, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Randy (Veronica) Davidson, and David Davidson, both of Louisville, KY

  • Two grandsons: Jason (Laura) Davidson, Russell Springs, KY; and Jordon Davidson, Louisville, KY

  • One great grandson: Connor Davidson, Russell Springs, KY
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie Waddell and Gladys Keck, and one half brother, Ernest Hall.

He was a retired GE employee and a member of Louisville Separate Baptist Church, where he served as pastor for 13 years.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Columbia, KY in charge of arrangements.
