Got a weekend event to publicize: Still time to post

Easy Way to get free publicity which would cost $50-250 and more otherwise - but as advertising still the best media bargain in the country! A HEADS UP: Of course there is no Willard County, KY. It's a figament of mischievous minds. It's a mythical place, somewhat like Adair County author Chris Rowe's "Cane County." Willard County was created by the late Hughes Walker and a Mr. Renfro to confuse the Fried Chicken loaners sent by John Y. Brown to help a Democratic campaign they worked in. The dossier on Willard County lasted only until J.R. Miller called the boys into the office demanding they end it after the Fried Chicken whiz busted in Chairman Miller's office wanting to know what he was going to do about the internecine party faction war in Willard County which was undermining the campaign throughout the region. Chairman Miller was not amused.
If you have a weekend event to announce and would like it on the CM Events calendar, there's still time to do so. Send using any Contact/Submit button.

For fastest posts, send in paragraph form in this sequence and style:
Benefit for Arvil Fats Wooten perpetual re-election campaign
The Willard County America First Singers will be in concert at 6pmCT/7pmET, Saturday, February 25, 2012, at the Arvil Fats Wooten Convention Center, 767 S. Kevil Parkway, Comet, KY. All proceeds after skimming will go to the Arvil Fats Wooten perpetual re-election fund. Everyone is welcome to this free event. - Arvil Fats Wooten
That's the official CM sequence, style, and minimum content facts we use. But you don't have to write it that way, so long as you send us the information we need, have it "parked" on CM in a Directory, or give us easy contact information to let us contact you. Or, just send the following content and we'll write the announcement.

(The generally 5 part Events announcement is free except when it is advertising: But advertisers or can buy the same space, marked (Ad), for as little as $50-$250, and at that a remarkably cheap media buy):
  1. The who of the event:, as "The Willard County America-First Singers,"
  2. The What of the event, as "will be in concert,"
  3. The When of the event: as "at 6pmCT/7pmET, Saturday, February 25, 2012"
  4. The Where of the Event:: as "at the Arvil Fats Wooten Convention Center, 767 S. Kevil Parkway, Comet, KY"
  5. Maybe the Why of the Events: as, "all proceeds after skimming will go to the Arvil Fats Wooten perpetual re-election fund
  6. A non merchandising, non proselytizing, a non advertising welcome as, "Everyone is welcome to this free event."
  7. Finally, the name of the submitter:
  8. as "Arvil Fats Wooten" with telephone contact optional (but send so we can contact).
Events don't have to be submitted in this fashion, but they are only posted with ALL the information needed. Remember, if your event is not posted within 2 hours after 8amCT and before 5pmCT, Give us a call at 270-250-2730. We want to post your events.
