2012 Election Cycle State Offices on old boundaries

51st State Representative still Adair, Taylor Counties; 15th State Senate District remains Adair, Casey, Russell and Pulaski Counties

From Kentucky Secretary of State office

The Kentucky Supreme Court, on Friday, affirmed the Franklin Circuit Court's order that state legislative races for the 2012 election cycle shall be conducted pursuant to the boundaries that were in effect immediately prior to the enactment of House Bill 1. The Court reiterated that the filing deadline for candidates for state Senator and state Representative was February 10, 2012.

Consistent with the Supreme Court's decision and the Franklin Circuit Court's order, the Secretary of State's office will certify candidates to the county clerks on Monday, February 27, 2012.
