Lucille Stephens Harrell ,age 89 years of Columbia, Ky. passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 8:23amCT. at Bowling Green Medical Center, Bowling Green, KY, after a sudden illness.

Funeral services are at 2pmCT, Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Stotts-Phelps-McQuearyFuneral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY with Bro. Allen Durrett and Bro. William Karnes the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Haven Cemetery, 1276 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation is after 3pmCT, Saturday, February 25, 2012, at the funeral home.

She was born on January 9, 1923 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Rollin and Pearl Sharp Stephens. She died Thursday, February 23, 2012, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 89 years, 1 month, and 14 days.

He was the widow of Herbert E. Harrell, Sr. who preceded her in death on May 21, 1993

Mrs. Harrell is survived by the following.
  • One son, Herby Harrell of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Becky Parsons Jones and husband Robbie of Glasgow, KY

  • One granddaughter: Rebecca Hales and husband Derek of Bowling Green, KY

  • One grandson: A. J. Parsons & fiancee Tammi DeMumbrum of Edmonton, KY

  • One great grandson: Zack Parsons of Glasgow, KY

  • One sister Thomasine Thomas and husband Robert of Springfield, TNand a host of other relatives and friends survive
Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by one sister Lurline Fox &One brother Rollin W. Stephens.

She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church a homemaker, a beloved and devoted mother, grandmother & great-grandmother.
