Robert Leon James, Casey Co., KY (1949-2012) He was a member of a large, highly regarded family. He leaves 41 direct living descendants. He was a retired truck driver, an avid drag racing fan, and antiques collector and attended Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and will be accorded military honors by the Casey County Funeral Squad and the Ft. Knox Honor Guard. Funeral services will be at 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Monday, February 27, 2012, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Cameron Cain officiating. Burial will follow in Casey County Memorial Gardens with military honors by the Casey County Funeral Squad and the US Army Fort Knox Honor Guard. Visitation is from 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCt, Sunday, February 26, 2012, at the funeral home. Robert Leon James, Casey Co., KY (1949-2012) Born Tuesday, March 22, 1949, in Norton, VA, he was a son of the late Robert and Hannah Gilliam James. He died Thursday, February 23, 2012, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 62 years, 11 months, and 1 day. Leon was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a retired truck driver, most recently driving for Campbell Trucking of Windsor, KY. He was an avid drag racing fan, often spending hours under the hood of his own drag cars. He enjoyed antiques and auctions and was always looking for a bargain. Leon attended the Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church.
