Danny G. Paxton, Green County, KY (1951-2012)

He was a member of a highly respected Green County, KY family. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was also a former employee for General Electric

Mr. Danny G. Paxton, 61, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services for Mr. Danny G. Paxton will be conducted at 1pmCT, Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 South Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Temperance Road, Green County, KY. Bro. Curtis Slinker will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Thursday, February 23, 2012, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Friday until time of the funeral service.

Mr. Danny G. Paxton was the son of Russell Paxton of Greensburg, and the late Marie Estelle McKinney Paxton. He was born on January 22, 1951 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in Greensburg, Green County, KY He was 61 years and 1 month of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was also a former employee for General Electric.

Other survivors include the following:
  • A sister: Wanda Paxton of Greensburg, KY

  • Aunts and uncles: Willie Frank and Imogene Parson, Rex and Patsy Kay Paxton, Garland and Aimee Paxton all of Greensburg, KY; and Dorothy and Wayne Parson of Campbellsville, KY

  • A great aunt: Mae Risen of Greensburg, KY

  • Two nieces: Tony Kerney of Glasgow, KY, and Angie Suratt Decker of Greensburg, KY

  • Four great nieces: Carson Conner of Greensburg, KY; Gracie Kerney of Glasgow, KY; and Piper Decker, and Preslee Decker both of Greensburg

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, which can be made at the funeral home.
