Kathryn Mae Gossage, 77, Webb Ridge Road, Russell Springs, KY, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT, Thursday, February 23, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Eric Gilbert the officiating clergy. Special music will be by Amanda Gilbert. Burial will be in Lucinda Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pm Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at the funeral home.



Kathryn Mae Gossage, Russell County, KY (1934-2012)

She was born September 7, 1934, in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Marene Pruitt Bernard and the late Osborn Bernard. She died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 77 years, 5 months, and 14 days.

She was a member of the Free Union Separate Baptist Church and a home maker.She is survived by her husband, Hughston M. Gossage, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Four sons: Danny (Sandy) Gossage, Dwight Kathy) Gossage, Donald (Rene') Gossage, and Darren (Jessica) Gossage, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Seven great grandchildren

  • Two sisters: JoAnn Coffey and Pataricia Lynn Robertson, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three brothers: Jackie Bernard, and RIcky Bernard, both of Russell Springs, KY; and Jimmy Bernard, of Indianapolis, IN.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Deane Cobb and Reva Jean Lee; and two brothers, Jesse Bernard and Larry Bernard.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY in charge of arrangements.
