BOX SCORE Top Lindsey Wilson Scoring: Ashley Rainey 28; Jasmine Brim 23; Sarah Gillis, 14 Information from Dan White Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - There was no stopping Ashley Rainey and Jasmine Brimm on Saturday afternoon as Rainey finished with 28 points and 10 rebounds and Brimm added 23 points, five boards and four assists to push No. 24 Lindsey Wilson College past Rio Grande, Rio Grande, Ohio, 94-75 in Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. Jayvonna Sadler paced the RedStorm with 25 points and six rebounds, while Kaylee Helton and Shardae Morrison-Fountain reached double figures for Rio Grande as well with 14 and 11 points, respectively. Sarah Gillis continued her stretch of strong offensive games with 14 points for Lindsey Wilson on 5-of-9 shooting from the field, including three 3-pointers. Lindsey Wilson scored 24 points from the free-throw line, shooting 70.6 percent, while the RedStorm ended up scoring 14 points from the stripe after only making one trip to the line in the first half. Both teams ended the game shooting well from the field with Lindsey Wilson holding a slight 49.2 to 46.8 percent advantage. It was the 3-point line where Rio Grande got in trouble, hitting just 3-of-18 attempts for 16.7 percent. The Blue Raiders went from hitting 5-of-13 threes in the first half, to a 1-for-6 showing in the second to finish shooting 31.6 percent from behind the arc.
