Mary Lee Wilson, Casey County, KY (1950-2012)

She was the matriarch of a large, respected Casey County, KY family. She leaves 21 direct living descendants. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hilltop Trinity Full Gospel Tabernacle

Mary Lee Wilson passed away Tuesday February 7, 2012 at the Casey County Hospital. She was 61.

Funeral services will be at 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Thursday February 9, 2012 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Don Clark officiating. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation is 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.




Pallbearers: Paul Porter, Tony Smith, Benjie Smither, Jeff Sweet, Kenny Hatter and Larry Long Jr.

Honorary pallbearers: Tim McQueary, Michael Wethington, and Cory Edelen.

She was born in Casey County, Kentucky on Sunday May 21, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Riley and Dora Noe Long. She died Tuesday, February 7, 2012, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 61 years, 8 months, and 18 days.

She was the widow of William Earl Wilson , a homemaker, and member of the Hilltop Trinity Full Gospel Tabernacle.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Greg (Ashely) Wilson of Liberty, KY; and Brandon (Mindy) Wilson of Russell Springs, KY

  • Five daughters: Tammy (Paul) Porter , Melody (Tony) Smith, Rhonda (Benjie) Smither, Christy (Jeff) Sweet and Amanda (Kenny) Hatter all of Liberty, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • A great-grandchild

  • Two brothers: Junior Long of Liberty, KY; and Larry Long of Versailles, KY
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Harris and two brothers, J.C. Long and Denver Dillingham.Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with guestbook available at www.mckinneybrown.com.
