She was a member of the Providence United Methodist Church, a homemaker, and a farmer Mrs. Jane Geneva Dillon Glidewell, age 94, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Sunday February 5, 2012 at the Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday February 8, 2012 at 2pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY. Burial will follow in the Burkesville Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 2pmCT on Tuesday February 7, 2012 until the service time on Wednesday. Mrs. Jane Geneva Dillon Glidewell, 94, Burkesville, KY (1917-2012) She was born on Tuesday May 22, 1917 in the Bakerton Community of Cumberland County, Kentucky the daughter of George Marshall and Lucy Baker Dillon. She died Sunday, February 5, 2012, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 94 years, 8 months, and 14 days. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church, a homemaker, and farmer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Alexander Dillon, and Kyle Baker. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Anne Glidewell of Burkesville, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family suggest memorials be directed to the Providence United Methodist Church Building Fund. Professional Services provided by Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Ky.
