Plaudits for Sheriff Harrison Moss and War on Meth

Richard Raines writes:
Thanks to Harrison on working so tirelessly to bring the Methamphetamine makers and dealers to justice.

This substance is very addictive - normally someone who "experiments" with it is addicted from the first time they use it. Users typically die within 5 to 10 years of the first use. The chances of quitting it also are very slim - - usually addicts have to be locked up where they absolutely cannot get the drug for quite a while.

Meth is such a problem that those who deal in it make pill dealers and bootleggers seem like minor nuisances because it is so addictive!!

This substance is more of a problem in our area because it can be made from "ordinary household products" than probably any of us know. --Richard Raines
