Hazel Bean, 83, of Rickman, TN, formerly of Burkesville, KY passed away Monday, January 30, 2012, in KY. Funeral services are on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at 2pmCT, at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Don Davis and Jeff Cotterman officiating. Burial in the Burkesville Cemetery, N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY. Visitation will be 2pmCT-9pmCT on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY.



Hazel Bean, Cumberland Co., KY (1928-2012)

Hazel was born in Cumberland County, KY on April 16, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Pearl Scott and the late Richard Scott. She died Monday, January 30, 2012, in Kentucky at the age of 83 years, 9 months, and 14 days.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Bean, 5 Brothers, Berchie Scott; Cecil Scott; Ira Scott; Russell Scott; Welby Scott; 2 Sisters, Francis Owens; Nina Bean.Survivors Include the folloiwng:
  • One son:Lloyd (Linda) Bean, Jr. of Cave City, KY

  • One daughter:, Shirley (Randell) Sells of Rickman, TN

  • One brother; Kermit Scott of Burkesville, KY

  • Two sisters; Dorothy Mosier of Glasgow, KY, and Lela Scott of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Brian Scott Bean, Robin Ann King, and Scott Randell Sells

  • Three great grandchildren: Camille Sells, Haley King, and Myaleiha Bean
Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY in charge of arrangements.
