Car found in pond, deceased driver in field .5 mile away No foul play suspected in incident in Clinton County; investigation continues. Autopsy will be performed in Frankfort By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer News from Kentucky State Police Post 15 ALBANY, KY - On Sunday, January 29 at approximately 11:06amCT Trooper Tony Wells was dispatched to Huntersville Road in Clinton County to assist the Clinton County Sheriff's Office. A vehicle had been located in a pond with no one in the immediate vicinity. The day long investigation revealed that 24-year-old Casey Burchett had been driving the car but could not be located. The Clinton County Sheriff's department was continuing the investigation and contacted KSP today just after 9amCT advising that a deceased female had been located in a field approximately 0.5 mile from where the vehicle was discovered. The deceased was identified as Casey Burchett. Detective Russell Decker responded to the scene and is investigating. Foul play is not suspected and an autopsy will be performed in Frankfort.
