Reva Nell Kessler Marcum, 66, of Hopkinsville, KY, formerly of Hodgenville, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY.

The funeral services for Reva Nell Kessler Marcum will be conducted at 10amCT, Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville, KY. Bro. Gordon Davis will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pmCT-8pmCT, Friday, January 27, 2012, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service.



Reva Nell Kessler Marcum, Green Co., KY (1945-2012)

Reva Nell Kessler Marcum of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, formerly of Hodgenville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Charles Lee Kessler and Elsie Simpson Kessler, was born on Monday, September 3, 1945 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville. She was 66 years, four months and 22 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a homemaker.

Survivors include the following:
  • A daughter and son-in-law: Reva Jean and Scott Rapier of Greensburg, KY

  • Three sons: Jimmy Dean Adkins of Greensburg, KY; Kenny Wayne Marcum and Jerry Lee Marcum both of Hodgenville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Myrtle Hope Rapier and Scott Wesley Rapier both of Greensburg, KY

  • Two sisters: Lucille Mars of Greensburg, KY; and Adeana Wilson of Campbellsville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial fund, which can be made at the funeral home.The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
