Human Trafficking arrest: Columbia, KY man charged

Arrest is result of ongoing investigation into suspected prostitution ring involving female juveniles; Adulfo DeAquino Cancino lodge in Taylor County Detention Center following arrest.

The Kentucky State Police Post 15 has arrested Adulfo DeAquino Cancino (age 27), of Columbia, KY for the charges of Human Trafficking and Unlawful Transaction with a Minor, illegal sex act under 16 years of age. Cancino is currently identified as an undocumented alien and was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.

The arrest is the result of an ongoing investigation being conducted by Detective Mike Dubree in several counties within the Post 15 area. The investigation is centered on a suspected prostitution ring involving female juveniles. Det. Dubree anticipates more criminal charges in the other counties within the Post 15 District.
