Faye Jessie, age 68 years, of Columbia, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 11amCT at her home after illness.

Funeral service Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. David Summers and Rev. Frank Aubin the officiating clergy. Interment in Moore Cemetery, 225 Prices Creek Road, at Gradyville. Visitation after 3pmCT, Thursday, January 19, 2012.

She was born on Saturday, April 3, 1943, in Adair County, KY. She wasthe daughter of the late Owen and Vernie Lee Pelston England. She died Tuesday, January 17, 2012, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 9 months, and 14 days.She is survived by her husband Ronnie Jessie of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Dwayne Jessie of Columbia, KY, and David Jessie and wife Holly of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Cynthia Aubin and husband Kevin of Louisville, KY

  • One brother: Leonard England of Breeding, KY

  • Sisters: Lucille Troutman of Frankfort, KY, Carol Roach of Louisville, KY,Martha Leach of Georgia, and Johnnietta Jessie of Edmonton, KYKY

  • Six grandchildren: Kurtis Jessie, Kenton Jessie, Samantha Jessie, Karli Jessie, Amanda Frames and Megan Aubin

  • Several nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends
She was a member of Wells Chapel Baptist Church at Breeding and was a factory worker.

Memorial are suggested to Hoparus of Central Kentucky and may be left at the funeral home.Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements
