Lucile Smith Wilson, Russell Co., KY (1919-2012)

She was a beloved member of a distinguished, highly regarded Russell County, KY family, and the widow of Judge Terril Wilson. She a homemaker, and a strong, quiet woman who lived her faith. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Russell Springs, KY

Lucile Smith Wilson, 92, Lakeway Drive, Russell Springs, KY, died Sunday, January 15, 2012, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT, Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at 392 E. Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY with Dr. French Harmon, Bro. Jeff Griffin and Bro. John C. Wilson officiating. Special music will be rendered by the First Baptist Church Choir and David pendley. Burial will be in Smith Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at 5pm-7pm CT at the church and after 11amCT at the church.



Pallbearers: William W. Wilson, William L. Wilson, Gene V. Smith, Joel r. Smith, Donald Hare, and Greg McGowan. Honorary pallbearers will be the First Baptist Church Deacons.

She was born February 5, 1919, in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Beulah Rexroat Smith and the late Hollis M. Smith. She died Sunday, January 15, 2012, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 92 years, 11 moths, and 10 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Russell Springs, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Terril A. Wilson.

She is survived by the followig:
  • One son: James Terril Wilson, Bronston KY

  • One daughter: Terry Wilson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two grandchildren: James T. Wilson, Jr., Lexington, KY, and Sarah Abigail Wilson, Lakewood, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Smith Kelsall, and a brother, H.M. Smith, Jr.Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
