Drug Sweep, on Melson Ridge follows tip to Russell Co. SO

A tip received by the Russell County Sheriff's Department, Jamestown, KY, and coordinated with the Adair County Sheriff's Department in Columbia, KY, has resulted in the arrest of eight Adair Countians and one Russell Countian at a residence on Cape Road in the Cundiff Community of South Adair County, near its borders with Russell and Cumberland Counties, KY..

ACSO narrative::

Russell County Law Enforcement received a tip that meth was being manufactured at a residence on Cape Road in the Melson Ridge Community late Sunday night, January 16, 2012. They notified the Adair County Sheriff's Office and Sheriff Harison Moss and Deputy Justin Claywell went to the area to investigate.

They arrived at the location given in the tip and saw several vehicles at the residence. They then called another Adair County Deputy, Adam Cravens, and Russell County Sheriff's Deputies, Nick Bertram, Jason Warriner and Mark Cromwell for assistance. The Deputies made contact with the occupants of the residence and found that they were in fact manufacturing meth in the residence.

Nine people were arrested and taken to the Adair County Jail. Their names and Charges follow:
  1. Brian Davison - Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree (3 Charges)
  2. Robert Miller - Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree (3 Charges)
  3. Jason Oprzedek (pronounced up-shad-uck) - Manufacturing Methamphetamine 2nd + Offense, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree (3 Charges)
  4. Angela Moore - Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree (3 Charges)
  5. Stacy Corbin - Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree (3 Charges)
  6. Richard Loveless- Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree (3 Charges)
  7. Ashley Crawhorn - Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree (3 Charges)
  8. Michael Corbin - Manufacturing Methamphetamine 2nd + Offense, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree (3 Charges)
  9. Nicholas Warner - Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child 4th Degree (3 Charges), Possesion of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon - Knives
All but Number 8, Michael Corbin, are Adair County, KY, Residents. Michael Corbin is a resident of Russell County, KY - -From Adair County Sheriff's Office
