Mary Lou Martin, 59, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral services will be Sunday, January 15, 2012, at 2pmCT, at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Powell, and Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be from 5pmCT until 9pmCT on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, in Burkesville.

Mary Lou was born in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, on Sunday, July 27, 1952. She was the daughter of Betty Moll Martin, and the late Howard Martin. She died in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, Thursday, January 12, 2012, at the age of 59 years, 4 months, and 16 days.

She was a retired employee of Anthem Blue Cross in Louisville, KY, and loved riding horses.Survivors include the following:
  • Her mother: Betty Martin of Louisville, KY

  • Her fiance: Kenneth Vibbert of Burkesville, KY

  • Four step children: Amy Bean of Jeffersonville, IN; Bethany Vibbert of Burkesville, KY; Kory Vibbert of Clarksville, IN; and Rhonda Paxton of Jeffersonville, IN

  • One cousin: Dan Moll of Louisville, KY

  • Send a condolence for the family of Mary Lou Martin

    Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Burkesville, KY in charge of arrangements.
