Phyllis Ann Cox , 64, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 6amET/5amCT, Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Parrott &Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Donald Clark. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Visitation wil be aftger 5pmET/4pmCT, Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the funeral home.



Phyllis Ann Cox, Taylor Co., KY

Phyllis Ann Cox was the daughter of the late Robert "Bob" Franklin Johnson and Lela Belle Allen Johnson. She was born August 28, 1947 in Casey County, Kentucky. She died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 64 years, 4 months, and 14 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Hilltop Trinity Full Gospel Tabernacle.

She united in marriage to Robert Cox December 12, 1970. He preceded her in death August 22, 2001.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son and two daughters: Robbie Cox, Lisa Ann Cox and fiancee, Billy Blakeman and Robin Leigh Cox and fiancee, Billy Wallace of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Nichole McCauley and Jessica Cundiff of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren: Ryder McCauley and KayLee McCauley of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three brothers and five sisters and their spouses: Edith Campbell of Campbellsville, KY; Lilburn Johnson of Greensburg, KY; Melvin Johnson of Knifley, KY; Wanda Sanders and Daisy Miller of Liberty, KY; Larry Johnson and Shirley Cox of Hope, Indiana; and Shelby Swafford of Spring Hill, Tennessee

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Wayne Johnson and Margie Parker.
