Mary Frances Wade, Russell Springs, KY (1933-2012) She was a member of a large, highly regarded Russell County, KY family and beloved retired school teacher. She is remembered for her keen wit and humor, and for the never-ending supply of jokes and good humor - despite health issues - a characteristic which never ceased to amaze and inspire those who knew and loved her so much. She was an unabashed liberal in a sea of Republicans, but never made an issue of it. She endeared herself to all by being considerably more likely to poke fun at herself than at anyone else. She was truly a treasure. A remarkable woman who will be greatly missed. Mary Frances Wade, 78, High Street, Russell Springs, KY, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at her home.The funeral service will be Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Tim Butler officiating and Jenna McKinley officiating. Burial will be in the Wilkerson Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Friday, January 6, 2012, at the chapel. She was the daughter of the late Hattie Moore O'Daniel and the late Ben O'Daniel. She died Tuesday, January 3, 2012, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 7 months, and 18 days. She was a retired school teacher. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Wade, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
