L.C. Hansel, Adair Co., KY (1924-2011) He was the patriarch of a large, respected Columbia, KY, family. He was a native of Harlan Co., KY, but will be interred in his adopted Adair County. He was retired from GE and was a member of the Living Faith Church in Richmond, KY L. C. Hansel age 87 years of Columbia, KY passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 9:45amCT at Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY. Funeral services are Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Pastor Phyllis Miller and Pastor David Hansel officiating. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Monday, January 2, 2011. L.C. Hansel, Adair Co., KY (1924-2011) He was born on Monday, June 26, 1924 in Harlan, Harlan County, KY. He was the son of the late Thomas John and Mary Elizabeth Hansel. He died Saturday, December 31, 2011, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 6 months, and 5 days. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Lucille Hansel on July 6, 2006 also preceded by one daughter, Elizabeth Jent in 1969 He is survived by the following:
