Lyle J. Hawkins, Russell Co., KY (1954-2011)

He was a member of a large, respected Russell County family with relatives over a wide area, including Russell, Adair, Pulaski, and Warren Counties of Kentucky

Lyle J. Hawkins, 57 Scholl Street, Jamestown, KY, died Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, TN.

The funeral will be at 11amCT, Saturday, December 31, 2011, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Phillip Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Jack Lawless Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2011, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel.


Lyle J. Hawkins, Russell Co., KY (1954-2011)

He was born Thursday, September 27, 1954, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late James M. Hawkins and the late Milred (Grant) Hawkins. He died Tuesday, December 27, 2011, in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN, at the age of 57 years, 3 months.

He is survived by the following:
  • Four sisters: Mary L. Oakes, Columbia, Ky; Fran Schott, Bowling Green, KY; Vickie Wooten, Somerset, KY; and Ethel Popplewell, Jamestown, KY

  • Two brothers; Roy Hawkins, Jamestown, KY, and Timmy Hawkins, Bowling Green, KY

  • And by a host of nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Drew and James Hawkins and two sisters, Hulda Ballenger and Martha Maynard.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
