Winnie Lou Walters, 65, E. Cumberland Avenue, Jamestown, KY, died Friday, December 16, 2011, at her home in Jamestown, KY.The funeral service will be at 10amCT, Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Tony Stephens officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Monday, December 19, 2011, at the chapel. Burial will be in the Jamestown Cemetery, N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY.


Winnie Lou Walters,, Russell County, KY (1946-2011)

She was born July 31, 1945, in the city of Jamestown, Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Orus Gossage and the late Ruth Bolin Gossage. She died Friday, December 16, 2011, in the city of her birth, at the age of 65 years, 4 months, and 16 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Jamestown Christian Church, Jamestown, KY.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Walters, Jamestown, KY, and the following:
  • A daughter: Lisa Skeens, Jamestown, KY

  • A brother: Ronald (Carolyn) Gossage, Campbellsville, KY

  • A sister, Myrna (Arlie) Roy, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three grandchildren

  • Two great grandchildren
The family requests memorials to be donations to the Jamestown Christian Church.The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
