Della Mae Luttrell, Casey County, KY (1928-2011)

She was a member of a large, respected Casey County, KY family, She attended Bethel United Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and loved to sew and quilt

Della Mae Luttrell, formerly of Dry Fork Creek in Casey County, KY passed away Friday December 16, 2011 at her home in Lexington , KY . She was 83.

Funeral services will be at 1pmET/12 noon CT, Monday, December 19, 2011 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 756 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Delvin Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Bowmer Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, at the funeral home.


Della Mae Luttrell, Casey County, KY (1928-2011)

Born Tuesday, April 17, 1928 in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Will and Mary Ragle Crew. She died Friday, December 16, 2011, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 83 years, 7 months, and 29 days.

She was a homemaker, attended Bethel United Baptist Church and loved to sew and quilt.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe C. Luttrell ; a son, Marvin Luttrell; daughter, Barbara Sue Luttrell; two brothers, Ernest and James Crew; and three sisters, Maudie Hawkins, Opal Richardson, and Francis Wright.

Survivors include the following:
  • Five sons: Arvis Luttrell of Windsor, KY; Eddie Luttrell of Albany, KY; Jackie Luttrell of Dry Fork, KY; Tony Luttrell of Windsor, KY; and Terry Luttrell of Dry Fork, KY

  • Four daughters: Mary J. Bostic of Lexington, KY; Bessie Sayers and Faye Passmore both of Russell Springs, KY; ; and Margie Coffman of Liberty, KY

  • Two brothers: Sam Crew of Windsor, KY; and Adrian Crew of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three sisters: Beth Pifer of Louisville, Ky; Ruth Claypool of Orlando, Florida; and Elvada Rexroat of Russell County, KY

  • Sixteen grandchildren

  • Many great grandchildren

  • Many great great grandchildren
