She was a member of a large, respected West Adair County family. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church

Ruby Bell, 91, formerly of Adair County, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 4:05pmCT, at the Metcalfe Health Care Center in Edmonton, KY.

The funeral service will be Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Carl Edwards officiating. Burial will in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Saturday, December 17, 2011, at the funeral home.



Ruby Bell, Adair Co., KY (1920-2011)

She was born Sunday, February 15, 1920 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Rollin and Minnie Pearl Floyd Pickett and was the widow of Enos Bell. She died Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at the age of 91 years, 9 months, and 30 days.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her three brothers; Bud, Ores and Curtis Pickett.

She was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three nieces: Donna Dobson, Doris Vaughn and Kathy Pickett

  • Four nephews: David, Danny, Mike and William Pickett
