Basketball: LWC Men, 92; Southern Wesleyan 72

CENTRAL, S.C. Chase Cox led four players in double-figures scoring with 16 points to lead the 18th ranked Lindsey Wilson College mens basketball team over Southern Wesleyan (SC) University 91-72 on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, in Tysinger Gymnasium. Cox hit 4-of-5 3-pointers to tally the team high, while senior Chase Spreen added 15 points, junior Kalen Kimberland tallied 12 and senior Justin Archie finished with 11 points, going 5-for-5 from the field. Kenny Joyner and Nikola Lambic paced the Warriors with 16 and 14 points, respectively. The game was won for the Blue Raiders in the second half, outscoring Southern Wesleyan 52-41 behind a season-high 63.8 shooting percentage from the field and season-best mark of 66.7 percent from behind the arc. Junior Darren Ballou hit the first of back-to-back threes from the left wing, followed by Baker being left open at the top of the key.
