Wonderful celebration: Lindsey Wilson Golden Alumni Society

Bea Coomer Beard writes:
I had the privilege to participate in the Golden Alumni Society recognition program during the ninety-fourth commencement on Saturday.

This program is a wonderful celebration for those members of the Lindsey Wilson family who are celebrating their 50th college reunion. The Saturday convocation recognized the graduates from the classes of 1950 - 1955. It reunited former classmates and allowed the participants to connect with members of the college staff and students who are completing their degree work for the Fall 2011 semester.

This program provides a valuable service connecting the college with alumni and members of the local community. I would like to acknowledge the efforts of Director of Alumni Relations, Randy Burns, and his assistant, Emily Davis, for organizing a special day and making all of us feel a closer relationship with Lindsey Wilson College.

Regards,
BEA COOMER BEARD
Thanks so much, Bea Coomer Beard, for recognizing this outstanding Lindsey Wilson College program, and its organizers, Randy Burns, and Emily Davis.
