Ruby Tilley of Casey Creek, Kentucky, died at 4:25pmET, Saturday, December 3, 2011 in Campbellsville, at the age of 95. Graveside Service: 4pmET, Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Upton Cemetery in Upton, KY, by Minister Hugh Withers.

Ruby Tilley was born in Hart County, Kentucky, April 2, 1916. She was the daughter of the late John Lewis Tilley and Ida Givens Tilley. She died Saturday, December 3, 2011, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY at the age of 95 years, 8 months, and 1 day.

She was a former employee of Bradford Woolen Mill in Louisville and of Dolfinger's in Louisville, KY.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her niece: Nada Goode Sanders of Casey Creek, KY

  • Several great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by four sisters: Iva Goode, Elizabeth Whitlock, Hazel Ellicott, and Velma Tilley; and one half-sister, Bertha Moody.Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
