Lindsey Wilson has had 61 first, second or third team All-Americans and an additional 18 honorable mention All-Americans in the program's 22-year history' - CHRIS WELLS By Chris Wells, Lindsey Wilson Sports Information Director COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College senior Chris Williams and junior Lebogang Moloto have been selected as 2011 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Men's Soccer First Team All-Americans, NAIA officials announced on Monday, December 5, 2011. Williams and Moloto are two of the 11 student-athletes selected to the first-team. The NAIA All-American teams -- consisting of first, second, third and honorable mention -- are selected by the NAIA Men's Soccer All-American Selection Committee. The Lindsey Wilson duo helped the Blue Raiders to a perfect 23-0 season en route to the program's ninth NAIA national championship. Lindsey Wilson defeated 2010 champion Hastings (Neb.) College 3-2 in overtime on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Orange Beach Sportsplex in Orange Beach, AL. Moloto scored the golden goal in the 96th minute of Saturday's title game. The goal was his 11th of the season and his 26th of his career. The Polokwane, South Africa, midfielder, scored six goals during the 2011 tournament to lead the Blue Raiders. He was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player and the Champions of Character Recipient. Moloto also earned first-team honors in 2009 while helping the Blue Raiders to the national title. He was the tournament's Most Outstanding Offensive Player in 2009. Moloto was an All-American honorable mention recipient in 2010. In addition to his 11 goals, Moloto finished the 2011 season with team-high nine assists and was second on the team with 30 points. He had four game-winning goals during the season. Williams scored nine goals this season while anchoring the Lindsey Wilson defense that allowed just 12 goals and produced 14 shutouts. The Flint, Wales, native, was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Defensive Player. The first-team selection is Williams' first. He was Second Team All-American in 2009 and honorable mention in 2010. During the 2009 national tournament, Williams was named the tournament's MVP. Hastings' Derek Prinz has been named the 2011 Brine-NAIA National Player of the Year. Moloto and Williams become the 31st and 32 First Team All-American selections for the Lindsey Wilson men's program.
