Gloyce G. Parker, 86, of the Breeding community, died Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 8:24 amET at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Funeral services are Friday, December 9, 2011 at 10amCT, at 3trees, 3515 West Highway 80, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Jason Hood officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 6pmCT, Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, and after 9amCT, Friday, December 9, 2011, at the church.



Gloyce G. Parker, Adair County, KY (1925-2011)

She was born Tuesday, June 23, 1925, in Page, Le Flore County, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late John D. and Mirinda Jane Cole Davis. She died Thursday, December 1, 2011, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY at the age of 86 years, 5 months, and 8 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, LD Parker on Sept. 16, 2008. She was a retired food service Manager and attended 3trees.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Barry Parker of Breeding, Jim Parker of Sanger, CA

  • Two daughters: Pamela Gandy of Caruthers, CA, Annette Snezek of Roseville, CA

  • One sister: Zethel Hendrix of Midland, TX

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Eleven great-grandchildren
