ACES 6th Grade Quick Recall goes undefeated at Monroe Co. ACES takes 1st place overall in Governors Cup competition with seven other schools. ACES Quick Recall Team finished 1st overall and was undefeated for the day. Team members are: Cara Hatcher, CJ Bonifer, Emery Bosela, Gabe Cowan, Collin Dykes, Ben Hancock, Alec Harrison, Lauren McQuaide, Emily Miller, Susan Spinks, and Sydney Waggener Click on headline for full story plus photo(s) By Mary Ann McQuaide Adair County Elementary's 6th grade academic team had an outstanding day, on Saturday, December 3, 2011, Adair County Elementary School's in competition at the 6th Grade Showcase, a division of Governor's Cup competitions, in Tompkinsville, Monroe County, KY. The team came away with 1st place over all, with 46.0 points. Salem Elementary achieved 2nd place with 28.5 points, and Monroe County achieved 3rd place with 27 points. ACES Quick Recall team finished 1st place on the day and was undefeated. The following teams competed: Adair County Elementary, Salem Elementary, Monroe County Middle, Metcalfe County Middle, Cumberland County Middle, Russell Springs Elementary, Jamestown Elementary, and Union Chapel Elementary schools.
