Soccer: LWC Men break 29 year NAIA Record LWC Men's Soccer becomes NAIA National Tournament's All-Time Wins Leader By Chris Wells, Sports Information Director News from Lindsey Wilson College Athletics ORANGE BEACH, AL - The Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team became the all-time wins leader at the NAIA National Tournament on Monday, November 28, 2011. With its 2-0 win over Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.) University, Lindsey Wilson won its 42nd all-time national tournament game passing former NAIA member Quincy (IL) University. Lindsey Wilson tied the 29-year record on Saturday, Nov. 19 in the Blue Raiders' 7-0 win over Roberts Wesleyan (NY) College in the national tournament's opening round for its 41st all-time win. On Monday, a pair of Lindsey Wilson seniors - Chris Williams and Moses Aduny - each scored a goal to help lift second-seeded Blue Raiders to the win and into Wednesday's national quarterfinals. Lindsey Wilson - making its 19th appearance at the national tournament -- owns a 42-10-4 all-time national tournament record. The Blue Raiders have won eight NAIA national titles - second only to Quincy's 11 championships. Lindsey Wilson's quest for a ninth national championship continues today, Wednesday, November 30, 2011, as the Blue Raiders (20-0) face No. 10-seed Southern Polytechnic State (GA) University (17-2-2) at 2:30pmCT at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.
