Anna Christine Carroll, 87, formerly of Glensfork, died early Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Summit Manor Health & Rehab, Columbia, KY.

Funeral services are Friday, December 2, 2011 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating. Burial in Grant Cemetery in Glensfork, KY.Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT, Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the funeral home..



Casket Bearers: David Collins, Charles Phillips, Chad Moore, Jeff Nokes, Phillip Hadley and Bobby Collins.

Anna Christine Carroll, Glensfork, KY (1924-2011)

She was born Saturday, July 6, 1924 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Flora Cooksie Collins. She died Tuesday, November 29, 2011, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 4 months, and 23 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Carroll, in 1964. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include the following:
  • One son: Lawrence Henry Carroll of Glensfork, KY

  • Three daughters: Betty Sue McKinney of Russell Springs, KY; Brenda Lee Helm of Columbia, KY; and Bobbie Kay Grant of Glensfork, KY

  • One brother: Ronald Collins of Ann Arbor, Michigan

  • Three sisters: Loraine Smith, Edith VanBuren and Linda Williams all of Ann Arbor, Michigan

  • Six grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren

  • Four step great grandchildren

  • Four step great great grandchildren
