Careless Driver killed beloved family pet in The Flatwoods

'Want to be NASCAR driver' didn't even stop to see what he/she had hit

Beverly England writes
Last night around 8pmCT on KY 61 in the Flatwoods community of Adair County a family pet, Ozzy, was struck and killed by a "want to be NASCAR driver" driving a truck and boat going at a high speed.

The dog had escaped from the owner and we were in the attempt of getting the dog home safely. The dog was struck wih everyone watching. The driver did not even stop to see what he/she had hit. What if it had been a child or adult.

People drive down this road at high speeds all of the time. No only are animals in danger, but adults as well. Please slow down! -BEVERLY ENGLAND
