Frances Harmon age 81 years of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 3:18pmET at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services are at 1pmCT Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg, KY. Interment in Bearwallow Cemetery, 6080 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 3:30pmCT, Friday, November 26, 2011, at the funeral home.



Frances Harmon, Adair County, KY (1930-2011)

She was born Friday, October 24, 1930 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Kathrene Powell Cravens. She died Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 11 months, and 30 days.

She was the widow of Newell Harmon who preceded her in death on November 27, 1982.

Survived by the following:
  • One brother: Austin Leon Cravens of Columbia, KY

  • Three sisters: Cecile Alley, Norene Harmon and Raydean Burton all of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Earl Cravens on July 22, 1969 and Melvin Thomas Cravens on April 29, 2002.

She was of the Christian faith and a homemaker.
