Irene Coomer Warner, 78, of Louisville, died Monday, November 21, 2011 in Louisville, KY

Funeral service is at 10amET/9amCT, Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at Shoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 North Preston Highway Shepherdsville, KY. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery 2700 Jones Chapel Road, in Adair County, KY, with Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, Columbia, KY, assisting in local arrangements. Visitation will be 1pm-8pmET/12pm noon-7pmCT, on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at Shoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Shepherdsville.



Irene Coomer Warner, Adair Co., KY native (1932-2011)

She was born Tuesday, December 6, 1932, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Leslie Paul and Laura Annie Rowe Coomer. She died died Monday, November 21, 2011 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 11 months, and 15 days.

She attended Highview Baptist Church and was a retired cashier for various hotels. She was the widow of Charles Warner

Survivors include the following:
  • Five children: Bobby Beecham, John Beecham, Lois Chamberlain, Olean Griffen and Cathy Smith

  • Three brothers and four sister: J.C. , Paul and Russell Coomer, Marie Monlfort, Mildred Vaughn, Vickie Coomer and Peggy Freeman

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Ten great grandchildren
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, is assisting with local arrangements.
