Jesse Thomas Brown, Elkhorn, KY (1935-2011) He was the patriarch of a large, respected family. He leaves 49 direct living descendants. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Jesse Thomas Brown of Elkhorn, KY passed away Saturday November 19, 2011 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was 76. Funeral services are 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Freedom Christian Retreat, 345 Taylor Road, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Hank Johnson officiating and military honors by the Casey County Funeral Squad. Burial is in Dogwood Gap Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, November 22, 2011, from 11amET/10amCT until service at Freedom Christian Retreat. Pallbearers are Hunter, Michael, Aaron, Thomas, Derek and Josiah Brown. He was the son of the late Everett Monroe and Carrie McWhorter Brown. He died Saturday, November 19, 2011, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 8 months, and 10 days. He was an U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Alliene Chamberlin; a son, Terry Toons; and granddaughter, Amber Hope Brown.
