Wants Bull Road Road designated 'Bicycle Friendly'

Asks aid of Coach Grigsby to get Scenic Kentucky Highway the first designated Bicycle Friendly road in Adair County

By Barbara J Armitage

Bicyclists, runners and walkers from Lindsey Wilson College use Bull Run Road on a daily basis. Judging by the age of some of the people it looks like other (by that I mean older) community members are exercising on Bull Run Road too. Wayne and I love watching all of them as they pass Tucker's Station.

We are concerned for their safety. Are there "Bicycle Friendly" road signs? Could Coach Grigsby help us make Bull Run Road the first Bicycle Friendly Road in Adair County? I would love to see the speed limit reduced and signs posted to remind drivers to share the road.If I felt safe on the road Wayne and I would buy bikes and ride too. -BARBARA ARMITAGE.
