Campbellsville University to host food drive for Food Pantry

Aim is to fill a truck with 10,000 pounds of food

Campbellsville University is hosting "A Day of Giving" Thursday, November 17, 2011, from 7am-6pmCT/6am-5pmCT.The food drive will benefit the Taylor County Food Pantry at Green River Ministries. Canned food and other non-perishable food donations may be dropped off at Campbellsville University's parking lot on the corner of Broadway and Columbia Avenues (MAP), Campbellsville, KY. The parking lot is located next to the School of Nursing, Columbia Avenue.

The goal of the "Day of Giving" is to fill the truck with 10,000 pounds of food in canned goods and non-perishables. Financial donations are also accepted and appreciated. Campbellsville University is partnering with two radio stations in Campbellsville, Q-104 and K-Country 105.7, as well as Asbury Church and The GADDCO Group.
