NASHVILLE, TN -The Lindsey Wilson College men's basketball team picked the worst possible time to go ice cold from the field in a 67-66 loss tonight at Trevecca Nazarene University, Nashville, TN.

Leading 64-55 with 4:13 left, the Blue Raiders made just one of six shots in the final four minutes to drop their first game of the season.

The host Trojans (3-0) grabbed their first and only lead of the second half on a three-pointer by Michael France with 11 seconds left in the game to take the 67-66 lead. Trevecca Nazarene's largest lead of the night was a two points late in the first half.

Trevecca had just three fouls in the first 19:49 of the second half. The Blue Raiders were forced to use the next 10 seconds off the game clock just to get the ball into the front court as the Trojans committed three straight fouls.

With one second remaining, Chase Spreen's inbounds pass to Kalen Kimberland near the top of the key set up the Blue Raiders' final chance. But Kimberland's off-balanced three-pointer fell short of the target sending the Blue Raiders (3-1) to the loss. Kimberland led Lindsey Wilson with 16 points.

After leading 38-35 at the break, Lindsey Wilson sprinted out of the locker room to build a 10-point lead on two different occasions. The Trojans battled back to tie the game at 50-50 midway through the half.

But the Blue Raiders once again seized controlled jumping out to a nine-point lead with four minutes left in the game.

Trevecca Nazarene would score 12 of the last 14 points to pull out the win.

Lindsey Wilson finished the game shooting 40.6 percent (26-of-64) from the field, but just 36.4 percent (12-of-33) after the break. Trevecca countered by making 29-for-64 for 45.3 percent. The Trojans also out-rebounded the Blue Raiders 41-37.

Lindsey Wilson's Milos Petrovic joined Kimberland as the only two Blue Raiders to reach double figures. Petrovic ended with 15 points. Trevecca's Keith Morris led all scores with 19 points. Chris Wells
