She was the daughter of the late Fred and Lonie Pickett Rogers

Cecelia Shaw, 83, of Louisville, died Monday, November 7, 2011 at her residence.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 11, 2011 at 12pm noon ET/11amCT, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway Louisville, KY. with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday, November 10, from 2pm-9pmET/1pm-8pmCT.



A native of Adair County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Lonie Pickett Rodgers.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Ian Short, Jr., three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include the following.
  • One daughter: Andrea P. Short

  • Three grandchildren: Brad (Tiff) Short, Katie Short, Tyler Stevenson

  • One sister: Carol (Clayton) Pitts

  • Several other relatives and friends
Donations may be made to the family.
