Query: Copy of Jake Burton's Big Grasshopper, extant?

For this and other Queries, check CM Classifieds: REUNIONS

Jeff Rooks writes:
A story appeared in your newspaper in 1971 concerning a Varmintology report and I do know this was all in fun. Jake Burton was my grandfather and the family has lost the picture of this giant grasshopper that was found on my grandfathers farm (according to Dr. W.K. Neat and his accomplice, Hon. J. (for Justice) Peterdick "Pete" Walker -CM). If it's still in your archive, can you please send copy to my e-mail. Thanks much. -JEFF ROOKS.
Thanks, Mr. Rooks. We engaged the best History Mystery experts in the business, so far to no advantage, to find a copy of this masterpiece. If anyone should find a copy of the famous newspaper - maybe in an old Columbia Daily Statesman, an old Green River Sprite, or an old Adair County News, the whole world would be much obliged. We're going to put this request in the CM REUNIONS section, where full many a similar quest has been met spectacular results. -EW
