Wilmerth Hart, Russell County, KY (1927-2011)

She was the matriarch of a large, respected Russell County, KY, family. She leaves 21 direct living descendants. She was a member of the Salem United Baptist Church and a homemaker

Wilmerth Hart, 84, Hwy 910, Russell Springs, KY, died Saturday, October 29, 2011, at the Casey County Hospital ER, Liberty, KY.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 10amCT, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Royce Hart and Bro. Wendell Roberts the officiating clergy. Special music will be by Glen and Willodean Richardson. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Tuesday, November 1, 2011.



Wilmerth Hart, Russell Co. KY (1927-2011)

She was born Saturday, April 23, 1927, in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Clara McBeath Gadberry and B.F. Gadberry. She died Saturday, October 29, 2011, in Liberty, Casey Co., KY, at the age of 84 years, 6 months, and 6 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Hart, and by three brothers, Cohen, Elvis, and Morris Gadberry; and three sisters, Enola Wilson, Adeline Wilson, and Gladna Grider.

She was a member of the Salem United Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three sons: Lloy (Wanda) Hart, and Bro. Danny (Jennie Loy) Hart, both of Russell Springs, KY; and Roger (Tami) Hart, Nicholasville, KY

  • Seven grandchildren: Clint Hart, Cristy Foley, Clarissa "Moochie" Hart, Ryan Hart, Tiffany Carnes, Eric Hart, and Jordan Hart.

  • Eleven great grandchildren.
